The owners liked their home overall, but the kitchen was small and dark—measuring only 9’ by 9’, even smaller than many apartment kitchens. Since they loved cooking and hosting gatherings, the space simply didn’t meet their needs. The formal dining room adjacent to the kitchen was seldom used, so we decided to combine it with the kitchen and also took a bit of space from the living room to create a much larger, brighter kitchen area. This renovation project was a fantastic collaboration with wonderful, engaged clients!
